That´s the Brazilian flair most people are dreaming of... But the sad reality for a big part of the population is poverty, hunger, slums, crime, drug abuse and prostitution. The prime mourners of this misery are the children.

For most of the people living in our society the situation of these children is hardly conceivable.

For the children of the slums education and future prospects are not accessible. They are working as shoeshiners or sellers of food and drinks on the streets up to twelve hours a day to sustain their families. Some of them even don´t have a familiy, they are orphans, lost and outcasted, running away from domestic violence. They live without rights, without puplic assistence. The daily struggle for survival includes criminal defenses and sexual exploitation by sex tourism. They try to escape of this fatal and insufferable situation by daily drug abuse, for example glue sniffing.

Our NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) kinderbrasil e.V. is working together with other NGO´s in Brazil helping children to avoid this situations, giving them hope, health and education. The projects in Brazil are all known by our members and they are working in an efficient way, without corruption.
